Happy August, everyone!
Here’s what we were up to in July:
We received £2,514.55 in donations from 111 contributors and we spent £3,913.49. We have £11,603.54 left in our main pot, £0 left of our Consortium Devolved Nations Fund Grant, and £1,265 in our Fund For Wales Grant. Thank Rwcola for your pizza fundraiser and donation to us! We had another fantastic couple Swim & Gym events – both with special additions! We collaborated with G(end)er Swap for the meet on the 11th and had our personal trainer join on the 25th! We are looking forward to similar events in the future, so please join us when you can! Our next August Swim & Gym event will take place on the 22nd. As a reminder, swimmers are welcome to swim without a swim top. We have access to a full gym, as well. As always, many thanks to Not a Phase for collaborating with us on these events!
We’ve also been having a lovely time at our hobby meetups! Thank you to everyone who joined us in July! Keep an eye on our Instagram or reach out to us if you’d like to join us in the future. We have our next meet this month on the 20th – plus, we’ll have drinks and snacks!
As another exciting moment of the month, we were finally able to re-open our Emergency Grants! We’re ecstatic to have both the funds and team capacity to offer these again as we’re very often heavily oversubscribed on our General Grants. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and/or joined our team! You can find more information about our grants at the end of the newsletter.
One more update on our freelance role – we’re excited to announce that we’ve onboarded our new admin person! We’ve had the pleasure of onboarding other candidates as team members – 2025 has been such a fun year for TAC!!
