Happy 2026, everyone!
It’s a huge thanks to you that TAC is here to see yet another year! Here’s what we’ve been up to so far:
In February, we received £1,252.95 in donations from 103 contributors and we spent £2,678.69. A big thank you to the Tiger Bay Brawlers who included us in their list of organisations to support in February! Go check them out!
Grantees – we have now resolved the issue we were having with Open Collective at the start of this month. Thank you for your patience with us!
We started off the year with some lovely times at our Swim & Gym (Nofio a Nerthu) events! Thanks to everyone who has joined us so far this year! Come join us on the second and fourth Friday of each month! As a reminder, swimmers are welcome to swim without a swim top. We have access to a full gym, as well. As always, many thanks to Not a Phase for collaborating with us on these events!
At the start of February, we were proud to partner with Sara Hartel with their open rehearsal for “Foreigner in my Body.” Thank you so much to those who attended!
A couple weeks ago, TAC volunteers met for a teambuilding and planning session for 2026! We’re so excited about what is to come this year! As part of that meeting, we voted on the names you all suggested for the TAC teddy and… The TAC teddy has a name!! Caio (said like KAI-oh) is our little TAC mascot. Catch him at our events!
Last month, we also released a call for more volunteers! We had a great turnout of applications and are already onboarding some new people!
