Happy November! Here’s what we were up to in October –
We received £2,806.09 in donations from 80 contributors, as well as a £2,995.00 grant from Consortium. Huge thank you to @lgbtconsortium !! We spent £4,575.60. We have £10,135.64 left in our main pot and £2,817.05 left of our Homes For Us Grant.
We are putting out one more call for volunteers for this round! We’re especially looking for people to join our Events, Grants, and Social Media teams. We are also looking for a team lead for our Social Media team.
Last month, we put out an extra call for grants applicants. Thank you for applying to them! As a reminder, we have TWO rounds of grants each month! Especially as we head into Winter, please do apply if and when you need funds. Redistributing money to support our community is one of the most important things we do. We’re here for you!
On 11th October, we had our Big Splash event! These events are always a blast and allow us as trans, intersex, and nonbinary people to have a space to swim or use a gym. Transmasc and nonbinary adults (ages 18+) are welcome to swim without a swim top. We also had a lovely time at our November swim and gym time – our last of the year! These are usually held on the second Friday of each month. Of course, another big shoutout to @NotaPhaseOrg for supporting this event! We’re excited to have you join us in 2025!
